Cost
It is important to note that not all wedding coordinators use the same pricing policy. Wedding coordinators often have binding agreements with other wedding vendors (florists, photographers, etc.) to solely use their services. While these vendors may do excellent work, they also might not provide the kind of services you are looking for. Ask your wedding coordinator about any agreements they might have with vendors ahead of time so that you are not taken by surprise later on.

Contracts
Make sure that you get everything on paper! Include in the contract exactly what is expected from each party so that there is no confusion later on! Make sure that a legal professional goes over your contract to check that it is legally binding and that it adequately protects you.
